To put it simple, you need a plan because what lies ahead, the strategies that you will acquire is going to be a two edged sword. There will be many opportunities and strategies coming your way, and trust me, you will be swayed. You will be swayed from your initial intentions if your why is not strong and your plan is not there. It happened to many people, it happened to me and you can be the person to skip this ordeal.

4. Exercise. You may be thinking that this is irrelevant. Let me share with you this quote from Jim Rohn, “Your body is the only place you have to live.” It is easy to coop yourself behind the computer screen and to start working fervently. You need to exercise to get your brains oxygen it needs. You really need the mental and physical energy to take you through working at home and starting your home business.

Just a side sharing, I am an advocate of the blood type diet, if you are a type “o”, you need to work out vigorously, if you are a type “a”, slow activities like yoga and meditation is for you. 5. Follow your plan to the tee! This is easier said then done. You have a plan. A plan will only be a plan unless you implement it. Take action. I would strongly suggest you set daily actions. It is easier to take actions when it is broken down into small steps.

6. Measure and evaluate. Now that you have taken actions, you need to know if they are profit producing for you and your business.

7. Celebrate each time. Yes! Call for a celebration, have your favorite candy bar and celebrate each small step that you have taken successfully. This is called positive reinforcement. It is always nice to celebrate. You need to enjoy the process in attaining your goals.

S: Specific

A: Achievable
R: Realistic
T: Time Framed

There is a factor that I manipulate and that is the ‘R’ factor which stands for realistic.

What I do and what I would suggest you to do is to STRETCH it a little more.

Take for example earning $1000 part time monthly seems a realistic goal, how about stretching it a little more to $1500 or $2000 part time monthly?

Yes the strategy that you use may require some tweaking but it’s definitely going to be worth it, isn’t it?

Why do you think I will set goals? Because it works! (At least it worked for me when I took action)

One of the goals that I set for 2008 was to get in touch with my “old” buddies, you know that as you progressed to the next phase of your life, sometimes old buddies seem so distant and I really really want to touch base with them and sort of have a reunion.

YES! It took effort!
YES! It took commitment!
YES! It’s alot of love!
YES! It’s alot of fun!

YES! It’s ALL worth it!

How would you feel?

I would be excited and feel my heart skipped a beat in a positive tune. And that was what exactly how I felt. I woke up feeling really happy and I am greeted with emails to say that I have earned a commission. And because I am in the other part of the world, I earned while I sleep.

It is always nice to listen to praises and good words. At times, your mentors will criticize your actions. They are by no means rude, sometimes in a fit of anger they may be. But most times they want you to become a better person.

4) You can speak your mind openly with this person
You must be able to speak openly to your mentor. You need to be honest so that your mentor can guide you on the right path.

5) You will listen to this person
Finally, you need to listen to this person. You need to listen and believe in them and take action. Whenever you think to yourself, “This will not work.” Just say this back to your inner voice, “He/she has done it and achieved what I want, so just do it.” Doesn’t that make sense? Your mentor will only share with you what has worked for them. So listen to them.
